Pragati Annual day is the exciting time for scholars to express their creativity, talent and imagination. It is the time when Pragati scholars and the entire Pragati team meet to celebrate the year long efforts, success, have fun together and recognize scholars’ achievement in that academic year.
2019 Pragati annual day was held on 15th of December at Rotary Club, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
Mentors had meticulously planned the entire event.
The hall was filled with students and their families by the time proceedings started.
Chief Guest for the evening was Dr. Shailaja Shastri, Founder and Director at Training and Research Initiatives.
Dr. Shailaja Shastri made a speech that was profound and thought-provoking. Even before delivering her speech, she made sure that her speech was reaching scholars’ parents by knowing the language that most parents knew. She explained how parents support is essential to every child by quoting real life examples that most of us were able to relate to.
Vaishnavi (Pragati scholar) and Pavana (Pragati scholar) were the hosts for this event. Scholars performed dancing, singing, solved Rubik’s cube and a staged a skit on environment & social cause. It was eye-opening and a treat to watch them perform.
Some scholars who did exceptionally well in academics and extra-curricular activities were awarded trophies and certificates. The bar keeps getting higher every year…
There was also a display of paintings from the scholars – showcasing their artistic skills.
The event ended with a serving of delicious snacks and bidding adieu to the academic year.
