2023 – Scholars Selections

Pragati has consistently remained committed to welcoming students with a strong desire to excel, who possess great potential but face financial constraints.

In the context of this commitment comes the 2023 Scholars’ Selection where invitation to high school students from various educational institutions in Bangalore was sent to participate in the selection process for becoming a Pragati scholar. The Selection process which took place on Sunday, July 16, 2023 commenced with more than 100 students marking their attendance which was followed by a written test with carefully crafted questions from their academics and general awareness.

Students who successfully pass the written test were subsequently interviewed, along with their parents or guardians, by an impartial panel of Pragati mentors and volunteers to thoroughly assess and understand all aspects of applicants. After careful assessment a total of 23 students were selected to receive not just scholarship from Pragati but also continuous mentoring.

Overall, The 2023 Scholar Selection event was a success, thanks to the collaborative efforts and seamless coordination among the dedicated mentors and volunteers. This collaboration spanned the entire process, from invitations to apply by eligible students, screening, creation of the question paper, written test and interviews.

Pragati welcomes all the 23 students to the strong Pragati family which is now supporting 115 students actively for scholarship for AY 2023-24.
